Men’s Soccer Sees Season Come to an End After 0-0 Home Draw Against National Park

The Colts (2-8-7, 0-1 Region 2) needed at least a win after losing the away game 2-1 in Hot Springs on Oct. 1, but were kept out of the net by the Nighthawks (8-3-3, 1-0 Region 2).
The first half was quiet, with National Park outshooting Cossatot eight-to-seven, with shots on goal only being two-to-one, in UAC's favor.
The second half was busier, with five NPC shots on goal to NPC's three, but the Colts could not score.
In total, shots were 16-15 NPC.
Tate Fuentes made six saves in goal.
At halftime, six colts were honored at halftime for Sophomore Day.
Jayden De Souza is a midfielder/defender from La Croix, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as well as St. Vincent Grammar School, who joined UAX after one year at UA Rich Mountain and is majoring in general studies/business.
Jonathan Grant is a defender from La Croix, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as well as St. Vincent Grammar School, majoring in psychology. Starting 11 matches over two years, Grant has three career assists.
Zamaro Mofford is a defender out of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by the way of Intermediate High School and has appeared in ten matches across two years.
Kerry Najera is a forward from Dallas, Texas out of Lake Highlands High School and majoring in business. Najera is the all-time program leader in goals (18), assists (6) and points (42).
Mpumelelo Sibanda, also known as "Spax", is a midfielder/defender from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, coming to us by the way of Bridgton Academy, and is majoring in accounting. Spax is second behind Najera in Colts history with 10 points, and is also tied with him for the program record for assists in a season with four.
Kobe Sutherland Jr. is a defender/midfielder out of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Martins Secondary School, and is majoring in business. Starting 18 matches as a Colt, Sutherland Jr. scored his first collegiate goal in October fifth against Neosho County C.C.
