The UA Cossatot Colts are the athletic teams of the Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (CCCUA), a community college located in De Queen, Arkansas, with campuses in Lockesburg, Nashville and Ashdown in Southwest Arkansas.
The school has its in 1975, when Cossatot Vocational-Technical School was founded. In 1991, Cossatot Technical College became Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas when it joined the University of Arkansas System. CCCUA offers 18 different associate's degrees as well as 14 Professional and Technical Programs within those degrees, as well as two technical certificates.
The University of Arkansas Cossatot Colts began their athletic department in 2018, with basketball transitioning from a club sport to having a men's and woman's NJCAA team for the 2019-20 season, adding a men's and woman's soccer and a co-ed shooting sports in 2023.
The Basketball teams are coached by Athletic Director Stan Asumnu and play at Bank of Lockesburg Gymnasium in Lockesburg. Justin Hinman is head coach of both soccer teams, who play at the Colts Soccer Complex in De Queen. Coach Brett Blackburn leads the prolific shooting sports team, which competes at shoots all around the surrounding states.
