DE QUEEN, Ark. - UA Cossatot men's soccer opened up at home, with the Colts defeating De Queen FC 6-2 in an exhibition at Colts Soccer Complex Saturday afternoon.
De Queen FC took a lead in the 23rd minute and doubled it 14 minutes later, going up 2-0.
The Colts had a quick answer though, with Xavi Manana converting on a penalty kick two minutes later.
Just seconds away from halftime Samuel Pashley scored on a scramble following a corner kick, leveling the match going into halftime.
After a flurry of substitutions just over 59 minutes in, it didn't take long to score as Danyal Bissessur pounced on a rebounded Andre Niccolo Falsini shot in the box to put the Colts in front, and Gustavo Quiroz added a fourth goal just two minutes later.
Two more goals happened in the closing minutes, as Falsini scored in the 82nd minute followed by Cossatot's star forward Kerry Najera getting on the scoresheet a minute later.
Tate Fuentes had one save in goal playing the first half, while Bryan Pumarol stopped two shots.
Next up is an exhibition away to NCAA Division I UCA, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
