Women's Basketball Picked Fourth in Preseason Conference Poll
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – UA Cossatot women's basketball team received 26 points to sit fourth put of eight team sin the 2025 NJCAA Region 2 DII Coaches Poll, the league office announced on Thursday.

Defending champions National Park College were picked as the preseason favorite with 49 points and seven first-place votes, followed by North Arkansas with 39 points and one first-place vote.

It'll be a new-look Colts squad this season, as head coach Stan Asumnu returns guard Mallorie Scoggins and welcomes eight newcomers to the roster.
The 2025-26 season is Asumnu's fourth in charge of the Colts, since taking charge in 2022.
Cossatot's season begins at home against Eastern Oklahoma State College on Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
